Fifth Marriage of Rupert Murdoch: A Closer Look

This morning, as the heat waves persisted in Delhi, residents were a bit concerned and eagerly awaited the election results tomorrow.

One news item in the newspaper caught my eye: the marriage of Rupert Murdoch, the business magnate and media tycoon, at the age of 93. He has entered into his fifth marriage with retired Russian biologist Elena Zhukova, aged 67. Since the birth details of the media mogul are available on Astro Databank with an A rating, let's explore the reason behind his fifth marriage.

The Lagna Lord, Jupiter, is in the 7th House forming Gajkeshri Yoga, while the Moon, the 8th Lord, is in Lagna. It's important to note that the Moon is conjunct the 3rd Lord of communication, Saturn. Additionally, the 9th Lord, Sun, and the 10th Lord, Mercury, are in the 3rd house - the house of communication and media, forming a potent Rajyoga, especially when aspected by Jupiter. Jupiter's aspect galvanizes the Yoga. This arrangement is also under the aspect of the 3rd Lord Saturn [Communication] and Mars, the 5th Lord and 12th Lord [foreign Land]. This combination resembles the launch of Fox News in the U.S.A in 1996, which has now become the most-watched TV news channel.

On 7th October 1996, when Fox News was launched, it was during the Rahu-Moon-Mercury period. Mercury, the Pratyanter Dasha Lord, is involved in Rajyoga in the 3rd house of communication, under the aspect of Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn. Moon, the anter Dasha Lord, is in Gajkeshri Yoga with the 3rd Lord Saturn. Additionally, the Moon is involved in a constellation exchange with Ketu in the 10th house.

In the D-10 chart, Moon is situated in the 10th House as the 5th Lord, forming a Ragyoga with Ketu, representing computer-related matters. Mercury is positioned in the 7th House in its own sign, along with the 11th Lord (associated with gains) and the 12th Lord (related to foreign lands), Saturn.

According to research conducted at the K.N Rao Institute of Astrology, the indication of second marriage in a chart should be observed from the 9th House (which is the 3rd from the 7th House), the third marriage from the 11th House (which is the 3rd from the 9th House), and so forth. In this case, the potential for a fifth marriage should be considered from the 3rd house from Lagna (4th Marriage). He got married on Saturday, June 1, 2024, during the Dasha of Saturn-Sun-Sun, which started from May 26, 2024. Sun, the 9th Lord, is positioned with Mercury (the 7th Lord and 10th Lord) in the 3rd house, indicating the potential for a fifth marriage as the 3rd house is significant for such matters. The 3rd house has the Sun, the 9th Lord, and Mercury, the 7th Lord, under the aspect of Saturn[cutter], the 3rd Lord and 2nd Lord. Additionally, Mars' energy and the aspect of the 5th Lord[Mars] and 12th Lord [Mars]contribute to the challenges to the stability of marriage. Saturn and Mars both aspecting the 7th Lord is undesirable for the stability of marriage.

Furthermore, Saturn, the 2nd Lord, is aspecting the 7th House in the Mrityu Bhag. In D-9, Saturn occupies the 7th house, and Sun is in Lagna, potentially causing issues with the stability of marriage. During the Dasha of Saturn-Moon-Moon, starting from 8th May 2025, one should be particularly cautious about health, as Moon in Lagna serves as the 8th Lord of Longevity. Saturn is the Mahadasha (M.B) 2nd Lord, and Moon is in constellation exchange with Ketu in M.B. However, Jupiter, the Lagna Lord, provides a balancing influence by aspecting Saturn and Moon.  I pray for his long and joyful married life.

Conclusion: The event aligns with the principles of Indian astrology, as observed through various planetary positions, Yogas  and their influences on the individual's life events. Factors such as planetary positions, dasha periods, and aspects contribute to understanding and predicting significant life occurrences in Indian astrology. This alignment of six planets influencing the 3rd House, connecting the Gajkeshri Yoga and the Rajyoga involving the 9th Lord Sun, the 10th Lord Mercury, and Jupiter's influence, indeed forms a potent and rare combination in the individual's chart. It's highly indicative of significant success and achievements, particularly in areas such as communication, career, and fortune, given the auspicious planetary energies involved.
